ISI Introduces New 10amp Current Sense Transformers

ANAHEIM, CA - Inductor Supply Inc. (ISI), introduces its new 10 amp Current Sense Transformer (CST3319), the latest in the SMT series of transformers for DC-to-DC converter applications. The series features a low-profile (0.20"), small footprint (0.284" x 0.284"), and flat-top design with a fixed clip making them compatible with pick-and-place applications.

Product applications include designs of isolated high-power DC-to-DC brick or discrete power supplies, distributed power systems in Telecom and Datacom networks, industrial control systems, medical instruments, and automotive and heavy equipment systems. Functions include feedback control, overload sensing, detecting load drop or circuit shutdown.

The CST3319 series includes a full range of turns ratios from 1:20 to 1:125 and provides a current rating of 10 amps. The product is designed for stable performance with minimum drift across an extended operating temperature range of -40 degrees Celsius to 130 degrees Celsius. The transformers operate within a frequency range of 50kHz to 500 kHz.
